Hi friends,

if you are kinda geek, who is always interested in new technology and devices then this information might fuel your grey cells.Allow me to introduce you to a brand new OS called 'SkyOS'. Nope, its not another flavour of Gnu/Linux, this is a brand news OS from group up. Beware weak hearted people who cannot think of even another operating system(Windows ofcourse!), this is not for you. It works on standard PC though there are few issues, but hey!, what a life without some adventure huh?!.

What is SkyOS?

The Sky Operating System, or SkyOS, is an operating system written for x86-based personal computers. SkyOS was created in 1996 by Robert Szeleney as a small bootloader. In the past 8 years, SkyOS has evolved into a full-featured, modern operating system, with a goal to be the easiest to use desktop operating system available for the average computer user. The development staff has also increased to include business, software, and graphics developers.SkyOS is an operating system written from scratch. It isn’t based on any other operating system. SkyOS uses its own GUI system called "SkyGI", which is integrated into the kernel. This system has nothing to do with X or XFree86, and is not based on either of these systems or their forks.SkyOS released beta 9 of it's operating system: "This release features new core components like the integrated mouse gestures, new Font system and API, new applications (Pixel Image Editor, ...) and various driver/system updates as well as more than 200 fixed bugs reported in our bug tracking system."
